Salon Policies  

Prices: All prices are subject to change without notice.

Scheduling: During our business hours our receptionist is available to schedule appointments. We also offer online booking, but recommend you schedule your next service prior to leaving Hair Refinery to ensure the best appointment time that works for your schedule.

Appointments: Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled service to allow for check-in and service preparation. If arriving late for your appointment, as a courtesy to the next guest, your service will still have to end on time regardless of the start time. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your service, lessening its effectiveness. The full-service price still is applied.

Cancellations: We understand things come up at times that necessitate a change in plans. If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment, please notify Hair Refinery by phone or text at 336-266-2324 as soon as possible. No-shows and/or cancellations less than 24 hours of your scheduled appointment may result in a cancellation charge of 50% of your scheduled service fee.

Premium Hair Services Booking and Cancellation Policy: The following Premium Hair Services will require a consultation and a credit card on file at the time of booking the appointment. Any cancellation of these Premium Hair Services received less than 24 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the full-service price to the credit card on file. No-shows will be charged 50% of the full-service price to the credit card on file.​​

Staff Selection/Changes: If you feel you would be more comfortable or better served by another staff member, or if you’d just like to get a fresh point of view, please let us know.

Credit Cards: We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.

Gift Certificate: Gift certificates are not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or gratuities. The gift certificate expires one (1) year from the purchase date. 

Suggestions: We’re always open to yours. Please let us know how we may serve you better.

For Your Protection: We regret that we cannot be responsible for loss or damage to personal articles including clothing and accessories. Please keep all valuables with you during your appointment. 

Children: Due to Covid-19 we ask that children only come for their scheduled appointment to reduce number of people in the salon. An adult must be present, at all times, during services if the client is under the age of 16.

Service Satisfaction: In the event that you are not satisfied with your service, we ask you to please contact your stylist as they are self-employed and will be responsible for helping you. If you don't have their number, please contact the salon and we will give the stylist your message. Also, please make sure and schedule a redo of your service within seven (7) days of your service visit.

Product Return Policy: Our haircare products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Exchanges will be made up to 30 days from purchase. Reasonable use will be determined by management.  All jewelry, purses, and hair accessories are final sale. As, we are a boutique business, our vendors don't always stock the same items. If for any reason your purchase is damaged, we will attempt to reach the manufacturer and ask for a replacement. However, if there is not an option with the vendor that the product was purchased from, the sale will be final.
